Our Solar System

Mercury

Mercury is the first planet from the Sun. It is a relatively small planet for the solar system with a diameter of 4,879.4 km and a mass of 3.03E+23 kg. Mercury has a rotation period of 58.64 days and an eccentricity of 0.206. It takes Mercury 0.24 years to orbit the Sun and it maintains an average distance from the sun of 57,910,000 km. The atmosphere of Mercury is composed of 31.7% Potassium, 24.9% Sodium, 9.5% Oxygen, 7.0% Argon, and trace amounts of other elements.

Venus

Venus is the second planet from the Sun. It is a relatively small planet for the solar system with a diameter of 12,104 km and a mass of 4.87E+24 kg. Venus has a rotation period of 243.02 (retrograde) days and an eccentricity of 0.007. It takes Venus 0.62 years to orbit the Sun and it maintains an average distance from the sun of 108,200,000 km. The atmosphere of Venus is composed of 96.4% Carbon Dioxide, 3.4% Nitrogen, and trace amounts of other elements.
